High Cholesterol? Not Anymore.

Explore High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials for Alternative Management!

Regular cholesterol-lowering medications might not help everyone reduce their blood cholesterol. We are investigating a novel therapy that may help lower low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) which is not controlled by lipid-modifying therapy. Your participation may help us achieve this.

Hyperlipidemia or high blood cholesterol is directly linked to atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is the gradual buildup of plaque inside the arteries which may lead to obstruction in the blood flow to vital organs like the heart or brain. This can lead to serious life-threatening complications like a heart attack or stroke. Prime Revival Research Institute conducts High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials to help lower low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels.

You may be able to participate if you:

  • Are male or female and ≥18 years of age
  • Have a history of ASCVD (MI, PCR, CABG, Stroke)
  • Coronary calcium score >100 Agatston units within 6 months prior to screening
  • Are on maximally tolerated lipid-modifying therapy
  • Statin at a maximally tolerated stable dose
  • Have a fasting serum LDL-C 55 mg/dL (1.4 mmol/L) to <100 mg/dL (<2.6 mmol/L)
  • *Additional criteria may apply.

To see if you qualify for this research study, your doctor will review additional study criteria. If you do qualify and participate in the High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials, you will receive all study-related care.

*There is no cost to you or your private medical insurance to participate in the Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials. You will receive monetary compensation for your time and travel. And all participants receive study-related care from doctors & health care professionals, free of cost.

*If you think you may be eligible to participate in the Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials or would like more information, please enter your information so we can see if you may qualify and can contact you about the study.

About the High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials

Prime Revival Research Institute is conducting Phase 3 Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials to test the safety and efficacy of an investigational study drug. The High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials aim to provide an additional drug to those who are unable to manage blood cholesterol with traditional treatment regimens. This study will consist of 1 screening visit, 7 treatment period visits, and 1 end-of-study visit. These may take a little over a year in total.

The High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trial is divided into 3 phases:

  • Screening and a Lead-In Period
  • Study Treatment Period
  • Safety Follow-up Period

Participants will also receive training related to high blood cholesterol management, study requirements, and additional benefits.

About Hyperlipidemia

Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death globally resulting in about 17.9 million deaths every year. High amounts of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (LDL-C) is a major factor in the development of cardiovascular disease. About 172.8 million people are on lipid-modifying therapy to reduce LDL-C and thus improve survivability.

Patients with a history of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) are at high risk for cardiovascular accidents, so they require absolute control of their LDL-C. Due to multiple reasons, an individual with ASCVD may not always have optimal levels of LDL-C and may need additional therapies.

In heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH), a genetic mutation leads to extremely elevated blood cholesterol. About 1 in 300 to 500 people have this disorder. People with HeFH are at a higher risk for a cardiovascular event, especially if they have a history of ASCVD, smoking, diabetes, or family history.

What to Expect?

If you would like to learn more about our High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials, please fill out and submit the form above. One of our research representatives will call you to give you further information about the study. If you qualify for the High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials, you will be invited to our study site for screening. After the screening, if you qualify and decide to participate, you will be asked to sign an informed consent form which includes the criteria and details of the investigational study treatment.

Once signed, you will be asked some questions. After this, several health assessments and tests will be conducted to help determine if you are eligible as a volunteer for High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials. You will be assigned to either of the 2 groups in which you will receive a study drug or a placebo in a 2:1 ratio.

*Participants will receive free-of-cost investigational treatment. If participants decide to participate in the High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Research Study, they may also receive study-related care from healthcare professionals.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Is hyperlipidemia the same as high cholesterol?

Yes. Hyperlipidemia is the medical term for high cholesterol.

2. How do you know if you have hyperlipidemia?

If you have a family history of high cholesterol you may have this condition, but the only way to know for sure is by getting your blood cholesterol checked.

3. What is an example of ASCVD?

Clinical atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) includes a history of myocardial infarction (MI), angina or coronary, stroke, and transient ischemic attack (TIA).

4. What does it mean if your LDL is high?

Having too much LDL in your blood makes you more likely to develop a blockage in your artery. Excessive LDL, along with other substances, can cause plaque buildup.

5. Where can I find paid High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials?

If you or a loved one is interested in participating in High Cholesterol Hyperlipidemia Clinical Trials, please fill out the form above. We are conducting Cardiology Clinical Trials to investigate potential new therapeutic options that may help people with high cholesterol manage their condition. Participants receive monetary compensation for their time and travel. Insurance is not required to participate.
